The 2nd District has an At Large Local, AFGE Local 42. The purpose of this local is to primarily serve retirees, who wish to retain their AFGE membership after they leave government service, and supervisors, who are in the dental plan, as well as active Federal Employees, who do not have an AFGE Local their location, but join mainly to utilize the benefits.
If your Local is interested in transferring members, who are in these categories, or if you are an individual who may be interested, contact the 2nd District office for more information, and ask for Christina Salazar.
