Saturday, May 17, 2008 - 7:00am - 9:00am
Caucus: Saturday, May 17, at 9:00am
ALL DELEGATES SHOULD CARRY THE FOLLOWING WITH THEM AT ALL TIMES
The yellow copy of their credential form
Supporting documentation showing that they were properly elected to the delegate position. This includes a copy of the 15-day combined Election notice, and/or 10-day Nomination Meeting Notice along with the minutes, and a copy of the election meeting minutes and/or tally sheet. Documents must be marked "Certified True Copy".
Delegates By Virtue of Office
All D/Vs must carry the yellow copy of the credential form, along with a copy of the 15-day Combined Nomination and Election Notice, and/or 10-day Nomination notice and Minutes, and a copy of either the election meeting minutes and/or tally sheet to show that you were properly elected to that position. Also include a copy of your Local's bylaws.
Locals must be current on their per capita payments 60 DAYS prior to the Caucus. The deadline for Locals to be current is March 19. Keep in mind that if you are not current on your per capita after that date, you will NOT be eligible to participate in the Caucus. Please make sure that you are current on all monies due to AFGE, and if you have any questions or concerns, please contact the 2nd District office ASAP.
Delegate Meetings
Locals should be now holding delegate election meetings. Once you have concluded your meetings, please submit your credentials to the 2nd District office as soon as possible. All credentials must be submitted, or postmarked, to the 2nd District office by April 17, 2008, 30 days prior to the Caucus.
